Finally!

Here’s my work around. The new Wordpress (version 6.2.1) gives the option (thankfully!) of uploading pictures by URL. So, until I figure out what the real problem is here, I’ll have to put photos into, say a flickr account and upload the pictures from there, rather than directly from my computer files. (Here’s where you can insert a sympathetic sigh.)

It really won’t be so bad though. Maybe it will actually help me keep photos a bit organized. Upload keepers to flickr, and from time to time, pull those photos into shutterfuly to get prints… Maybe it won’t be too bad.

I’m just so glad to see some color on this page again!
