The illness lasted a little over 48 hours for me, and I continued nursing Rosebud the whole time. She never skipped a beat. Everyone else had some symptoms of having the bug, but she managed to ward it off completely.
Nursing her through this illness reminded me of the other times I’ve nursed while being sick. I can only remember a nursing baby catching an illness from me one time. I had a sinus infection, but baby just got a mild case of the sniffles. Breast milk is amazing! – Milkmaid
