A couple of weeks ago, we had the opportunity to spend a week in the North Carolina mountains in the Bear Paw community outside Murphy. Marathon had some work there, so the rest of the family tagged along and rented a house in the community. The weather and Marathon’s work weren’t very cooperative, but the house (and its view) was wonderful.
The house had huge cathedral sized windows providing a breath-taking view of the river and mountains beyond. Everyone’s favorite spot in the house was a balcony with an over-stuffed chair and ottoman – perfect for looking out the beautiful windows and overlooking the main room downstairs. The house was also well furnished with lots of games, a card table, baby gate…The owners had thought of everything.
Carman and Sudoku enjoyed exploring the area on their bikes and hiking in the woods.
Wow! That looks so nice.
